Corbridge Festival postponed until 2022.

We’re so sorry for the delay in delivering this news.

We were hoping to be able to deliver the full story at this stage but frustratingly we’ve not quite got our ducks in a row. For now, sadly, news of the next stage in the life of Corbridge Festival will have to wait.  Please stick with us until the end of this announcement, we have big plans for the future - if the ducks aren’t yet in a row, they’re most definitely forming an orderly queue!

So, it’s with enormous regret that we have to advise, we’re going to have to put the festival off until 2022.

Corbridge Festival is scheduled to take place on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th July 2021. Having an event scheduled to take place within 2 weeks of the guide date for the end of restrictions, just gives us no wriggle room, if there’s some sort of delay.  With the unpredictability of new variants and the ever increasing risk of delay, it’s just too much of a risk for us to take.

Things could go perfectly to plan (and they would need to for our timetable to work….), but if they don’t, then we’d be well and truly scuppered! Utterly and completely.

We’ve been holding out, waiting for a Government backed Covid insurance policy to find its way into the live events industry.  Sadly, it did not arrive and without insurance of this kind, we simply can’t make all of the financial commitments we need, with the uncertainty that we are still faced with.

We’ve explored all the options to reschedule the event to a later date in the year, but sadly, there’s nothing available and so we are left with the heart-breaking decision to reschedule Corbridge Festival to 2022.

Thank you so much for your continued support, it really does mean the world to us.  We are currently working on something very special for next year. Please allow us a little bit more time before deciding on whether to apply for a refund because we have some big news to share with you very soon and we are certain that you’ll be pleased you held on to those tickets.

If you are not able to wait a couple of weeks and you would like to apply for a refund, please email customerservices@ticketline.co.uk with your name and booking reference number, before 30th June 2021 and we’ll see to it that you receive a refund within 60 days.

Please note: If you have purchased tickets for the 2020 event or 2021 event, we will have a record of your order and your tickets will be sent to you in the post before any future event.
